Material introduction of plastic chopping board
A plastic chopping board refers to the utensils placed underneath when hammering, cutting, chopping, or smashing things. It is generally used for cooking.
The material of plastic chopping boards is generally polyethylene plastic (PE), polypropylene plastic (PP), etc. The price of plastic chopping boards is low, light, and easy to clean.
PP (Polymer Polypropylene) generally refers to polypropylene, which is a thermoplastic resin made by the polymerization of propylene. It has a lower heat distortion temperature (100°C), low transparency, low gloss, and low rigidity, but it has stronger impact strength.
PE (polyethylene in English abbreviated as PE) generally refers to polyethylene, which is a thermoplastic resin obtained by polymerization of ethylene. It is odorless, non-toxic, feels like wax, has excellent low-temperature resistance (the lowest operating temperature can reach -100~-70°C), and has good chemical stability.
